Buy Now Buttons
As you probably know, Download-Bay.com allows sellers to put Buy Now buttons on their website or blogs to sell files that are hosted here directly on your own site.
If this is new to you, just visit anyone of your download pages while you are logged into your account and you will see the button code just above the download description.
Purchases made on your site via the buy now buttons are sent to our internal processing for price checking and your buyer will be sent to paypal with the current valid price as listed on Download-Bay.com regardless of the price that was in effect when the button code was copied. This is to prevent buy now fraud by anyone that might want to modify the price of the button before making payment.
With this price checking being the case, we recommend that you keep your buy now buttons up to date on your site or blog to reflect the price listed on Download-Bay.com. It helps customers if they are presented with the same price on paypal that they agreed to pay when they pushed the buy now button on your site. If you don't update your buy now buttons, at the very least update the list price on your site to keep it up to date with the price you have on Download-Bay.
